Job Summary:
Reporting to the Operations Leader, the Fleet and New Facility Leader provides leadership of the Facility Footprint and the Logistics and Equipment Stocking Strategy for the Rental Services NA business.  Primary accountabilities include Fleet Management/Positioning, Stocking Depot/New Facility Planning, and Equipment Stocking Plan development.

Responsibilities: (Listed in descending order of importance.)
• Logistics strategy/planning and cost management of over $11M Logistics spend
• Providing logistics leadership/coaching to Rental Project Managers and Regional Logistics Coordinators for 6000+ job shipments
• Footprint planning and existing location support for 12+ rental staffed facilities and 6+ remote storage yards encompassing over 25 acres of outside storage and over 275,000 sq-ft of warehouse/office space
• New facility search, selection, opening in support of Rental Services double digit growth and long range plans
• Equipment stocking plan development and management for over 1,600 pieces of equipment and over 10,000 accessories
• On-Board new carriers (local, regional, national) as needs see fit and manage current carrier base to ensure adequate coverage, proper documentation, satisfactory performance, and cost efficiency.
• Utilize current systems (M3, FourKites, Orbcomm) to help track and ensure the company’s ability to monitor on time deliveries to customers.
• Financial acumen to understand rate costs and their effect on related P&L lines. Understand how to capitalize on strengths or adjust to any deficits.

Requirements

• Contract Negotiations: Exhibit advanced negotiation skills with external parts/equipment/freight vendors and facility landlords

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree required with concentration in Logistics, Accounting, or Project Management preferred.
• Min. Yrs. Experience:  5+ years of experience required with experience in HVAC and rental preferred
• A proven track record of delivering strong results in a matrixed environment 
• Ability to travel up to 25%
